Abstract
This thematic brief investigates the monthly mobility and population distribution trends for the period of January 2024 to December 2024 at the national and regional levels, and four major metropolises namely Accra (including Tema), Kumasi, Sekondi-Takoradi, and Tamale. The objective of this report is to provide insights into settlement and mobility patterns to support decision-making in key areas such as resource allocation, infrastructure development, and community planning.
The findings contribute to understanding and analysing Ghana’s population trends and dynamics, facilitating evidence-based decision making for a number of policies and interventions for the country.
