We’re pleased to release a new case study showcasing how READO used, as part of the REACH programme, our microplanning support documents to reach communities in crisis in Southwest Somalia, and ultimately helped improve childhood vaccination coverage.
Using advanced geospatial analysis and population data, we collaborated with READO and other partners to identify underserved communities in conflict-affected areas. By optimising the placement of potential mobile and outreach vaccination sites, we helped ensure that immunisation efforts reach those who need them most.
This case study highlights how data-driven planning can strengthen health interventions in crisis-affected regions, improving access to life-saving childhood vaccines and reaching zero-dose children.
